How to use
1. Fill
Fill your bottle from any fresh water source. (To prolong the filter life find water with the least amount of sediment)
2. Screw
Screw the filter to the bottle and then the lid to the filter. (Make sure its tight to avoid leakage)
3. Squeeze
Just squeeze the bottle to drink. (Will require more effort than drinking without a filter)
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
Can it filter salt water?
No, our filters only work with fresh water
How do I know if the filter needs to be replaced?
The filter needs to be replaced once the flow rate has become significantly reduced
What is the lifespan of the filter?
The filter has an average lifespan of 150 Liters (this can vary with the quality of the water)
Does this only work with Specialized Purist bottles
The filter was technically designed for Purist bottles but we have found it to work with “Fidlock’s TWIST bottle 600”, but the plastic bottle itself is made of a thicker plastic making it more difficult to use.
Can you use drink mix?
No, drink mix will clog the filter rendering it unusable. The best workaround is to use one bottle with a filter and use it to fill another filter-less bottle that has drink mix.
